| SMS to Email Service |
| TellusTalk provides SMS numbers for receiving SMS messages. When such a number receives an SMS message, it is sent as an Email to the email address registered for that number. This service can be used for many applications in conjunction with the Email to SMS service such as workgroup synchronization, management of a mobile workforce or collecting message based (warnings, alerts) information from machines and processes on a standardized format (email). The incoming message is provided with information about the sending mobile phone number, the number it was sent to and a subject line containing 50 characters, which in most cases makes it possible to read each message just by reading the subject line. The service can also be used for charging the user a higher SMS rate, which can be useful for interactive consumer services. |
